Genetic carrier of..
did anyone else do the horizon screening?My dr just called to tell me I'm a carrier for alpha thalassemia. She said its so rare she had to call the geneticist to make sure it was correct and they even said they rarely ever see it. Anyway.. My boyfriend will be tested now too but since it's so rare I'm not that worried that he will be a carrier.
