Clomid for hubby. Confused

Hannah • Married with a 3 year old daughter who`s begging to be a sister!
Hubby has a low testosterone level.. But his sperm count is good.. Doc prescribed him clomid for 6 months.. I'm just confused that if his sperm count is fine then what's the point in clomid and will it contribute to getting us pregnant?!
