Still bleeding?

Its been 2 weeks since i started bleeding/spotting told my midwife called my hospital and they say not to worry unless it becomes period like or soaks a pad within an hour. No cramping, baby is moving, but yet still spotting on and off what could it be? Could i be dilating? I havent had intercourse in 2 weeks so i dont understand the bleeding. Anyone been or is going through this as well? What do i do?
