Should I go to the Doctor?

I've been off birth control for only 4 months. My 3 cycles off BC have been 29-32 days, so still adjusting. We had sex every other day during fertile window- used an ovulation test and everything to confirm. I'm now on day 38 and my period is a NO SHOW. I've taken 5 home pregnancy tests over 8 days- all negative! What the heck? I've never been this late before, should I go to doc and take a blood test? Am I being impatient? Has anyone out there been more than a week late but not pregnant? Or tested negative but actually pregnant?

I finally took a blood test and it was NEGATIVE. I'm not pregnant and I got my period today finally after 47 days. That suuuuucked. I hope next month is better. Thanks y'all for responding and sharing your thoughts 😘

I'm in a very similar position. Been off BC for five months. Periods are 29-31 days. Right now I'm on cycle day 40 and no period! Took three tests but all bfn. Went for a blood test yesterday and will be getting my results tomorrow morning...we'll see.

This is almost my exact situation too. I went to get a blood test today but haven't heard the results yet. Let me know if you find out anything!

I went off my bc in October. November was normal. My last period was Dec 15, more or less, still normal. January came and went, along with 4 test all negative. Woke up this morning and finally started. So I was roughly 56 days this last cycle. Talk about being worried and confused....

I recently went 56 days before my period came... longest 56 days of my life! It's so frustrating ttc.
