Rant..

I absolutely hate when people tell me "Don't hold your baby all the time or you will spoil them." Okay, yeah I get what you are saying, but come on, My child just spent 9 months held safely by my body. No, he doesn't have to be held all the time, but honestly, if he doesn't feel good, or he wants comforted, or to snuggle with his mommy, or just wants held I'm not going to not hold him. If I want to spoil him by holding him all the time, isn't that my choice? Quit telling me not to go running to him when he cries or fusses. It is MY job to make him feel safe in this world that is still so new to him..
