Any baby wearing experts out there?

I have no idea how to chose the right carrier so many people say such different things. So basically want to know what carrier everyone uses and why? And how did you chose that one. Some are so exspensive I would hate to go spend a lot on something that wasn't right for me

So I keep hearing about these baby carrier share programs you might be able to find one in your area. Basically you use the carrier for a month or two then mail it to the next person and then someone sends you a different one. That way you can test them before you buy

Moby or some type of wrap for the newborn stage, they keep baby closest and you can breastfeed with baby in them. Then ergo for when they get bigger. Slings are fun but will KILL your shoulder/back with prolonged use. I use to wear my newborn in a shoulder sling for grocery store visits because she liked looking out, but after 4 months she just got too heavy for it. Good luck ☺️

I used a moby wrap with both my boys until around 1 year old. I find it comfy, convinient and they both loved it :)

I haven't used mine yet, baby due 3/22/16, but I have a Beco Gemmini and only hear good things about it. You don't need an insert for infants, can be worn front back and side. And goes up to 35 lbs I believe. Plus they have the prettiest prints

I used my Solly Baby wrap from day 2 until he was 25 lbs, then I got a ring sling from Wild Bird. I will purchase a new Solly for a new color but will def use my other one as well. Check them out!

I love my ring slings, Sakura Bloom slings are amazing for the little bundle. Just watch you tube videos until you've got it down. Tips and tricks from other moms were key for me to learn.

Ergo, hands down easy peasy, comfortable, and a all time favorite. However buy a lighter version if you're in a hot/humid area. It's a bit heavy, I used it all day at Disneyland with my first and had no back pain. It distributes the weight evenly.

Ring slings are my favorite. Moby wrap I think is good for any age.

Whichever you try just watch the tutorials carefully. If you wear it wrong you could hurt your back or baby will be in an uncomfortable position. See if there's a babywearing group or class nearby. Some birth centers will offer those classes for free and they'll have samples to try during the class so you can pick the style that is best for you.
