I called them this morning to tell them my prenatal records would be faxed to their office in Atlanta and she told me that they would not let me return as a patient past 35 weeks. I was to be on my way back to Atlanta today and now I am flipping out. 

Yes I know it is late in the pregnancy to be switching back to my obgyn so please don't judge me I am really seeking solid advice. Should I call tomorrow and ask to speak to the Dr. directly and explain the situation, and the conversation that we'd had about me coming back? Is it possible that he can make the decision to override it since that is his practice? Do I call the hospital I planned on delivering the baby at and ask if there is an on call dr. That would be there and able to deliver for me?

Has anyone ever had this issue? Or if you are in Atlanta can you recommend a dr. That would accept a new patient? I'm not high risk and have had a normal pregnancy, I don't want to deliver in California !!

Again, positive advice please I'm desperate.
