Maca root

So I just wanted some of your ladies opinions on maca root. I actually just started taking it a month ago cause I hear it's great for infertility an anxiety an I'm having issues with both. So for the first 3 weeks I was feeling great even got a positive opk. But then as of last week I noticed 2 small bald spots on the top of my head an Freaked out an looked up side effects an it says it can cause male pattern baldness cause of the testerone in it. Also I just got my period almost 5 days earlier than I normally do an my cycle is ALWAYS regular. So anyone have anything to add to that or their Experience with maca? Because mine is now in the trash Lol
