Is this labor?

I have been having bad back aches all over my back. Started at 9pm-got some sleep and woke up at 1am and can't go back to sleep.  My stomach feels as though someone has punched me and my back still hurts all over. I don't feel waves and it's just constant pain in stomach. I did have diarrhea last night but took 3 tums and Tylenol. My water has not broken nor do I have a bloody show. I will be calling doc in morning but just curious as I wait till then-FTM

This is baby #4 & I never experienced back labor so I wondered too if you have back labor is it constant or come and go...i have been having constant back pain...& mild stomach cramping which I know are contractions but wasn't sure if the back pain was normal

I have had periods of nausea and diarrhea this week. Currently up with back pain and upset stomach. I was 60% effaced and 2.5 cm dilated at yesterday's appt. I am due on Saturday. Most evenings I have had strong contractions but they stop after 2-3 hrs. Wondering if this is working up to the real thing?

The back pain is constant and it's hard to time the stomach as it feels like a constant cramp. But will try timing if I notice a pattern. Thanks for the help

I've read that true labor begins in the lower back. I saw you wrote I feel like you've been punched in the stomach, but if it's tightening then you are having contractions. Try to time them if you can
