Advice on Breastfeeding?

I had my baby three days ago. She wants to eat fast, but she is having problem latching on... I tried every position & still she gets it and let's go.. She gets frustrated & so do I ☹  I want to breastfeed, not give her too much formula.. What can I do ?

Nipple shields! They are so helpful when starting out breastfeeding.

You can try a nipple shield ... I know they have them at target in the baby section , that's where I got mine at when I used one .. They have size small and medium , I'd get the small size or just get both sizes just incase but that should help her latch better .

Get the nipple shield and hand express some milk into the nipple of it first.

I agree with trying a nipple shield also if you're feeling discouraged or anxious baby will feel that be confident know you can do this and you can always contact a lc the hospital should have given you some contact info if you should need help good luck!

If you can't get her on (I couldn't don't feel bad) I would pump. I exclusively pump and it sucks I can't directly breastfeed but it's the milk that's important.
