Has any one had a baby with a smoker? How long did it take you to fall pregnant?

I am really worried that i am not going to be able to fall pregnant with my partner smoking.

Ive asked him to give up a few times but hes says it stresses him out when i ask and that he will quit when hes ready.

Does anyone know how big of an effect smoking is on your sprem?

As much smoking is killing your lungs and leading to cancer, as much it affects quality of sperm. Itd better to quit. But sperm quality will not change immediately. After quitting smoking probably you still need to wait up to 6 month to notice difference in sperm count.

Me and partner are smokers, and the same month I came off the pill I fell pregnant with my first. I quit throughout the whole pregnancy but he still continues to smoke. I am now currently smoking and so is he and we have started trying again for our second. Smoking doesn't really worry me about convincing. Think like drugs and alcohol make more of a difference. But as soon as I fall pregnant again I will quit straight away. Just hope he does this time too!!

My husband has smoked since he was 18-19. Our first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, t wasn't a planned pregnancy. Then 5 months after that we were surprise pregnant with our son lol. Then after being on BC for 4 years my cycle took 6 months to regulate and we got pregnant 5 months after that.

My situation is a little confusing! My husband and I starting dating June 2013! We got our own place August 2014 and got engaged December 2014! We weren't really trying but we weren't preventing anything either and we did this for at least a year! I thought I couldn't get pregnant so it was whatever, even though I knew I wanted a child eventually! We found out we were pregnant in April 2015, but ended up having a miscarriage just a month later! I was eight weeks and 3 days! He is a smoker! I don't really know whether to say we were trying or not! But we started trying again in September,, on our wedding night! We havent had any luck yet! So good luck to you! Baby dust! Just be patient, God is working on sending you your blessing!

My boyfriend and I are excessive smokers. When we first got together (3 years ago) I actually stopped smoking like that. He got me back into smoking weed&cigs.

We have never used condoms, or birth control and not once did I get pregnant. And he talks babies more then I do! So I told him let's quit for a few months and see what happens. But he just ends up getting bored and buying more weed and cigs.

I think this is why it hasn't happened yet. Well see in the future what happens. Fingers crossed.
