Gaining a lot of weight in 3rd trimester?

Question

I've been eating very good and staying active, yet I seem to be gaining much more weight. I've been to my doctor every week for three weeks now, and I have been gaining 2lbs in just a week! Before my 3rs trimester it was only 3lbs in a month. My doctor is not concerned at all. I just feel like I'm becoming a whale.

Anyone else gaining more in their 3rs trimester?

I gained more in more third trimester with my first daughter, and totally expect to follow suit this time around! No worries, it's mostly baby's weight now

Gaining I got your 3rd trimester is an okay thing. Your baby is gaining half abound a week so it is expected you will too. Plus more fluid and blood.

2-3 pounds per week is normal at this stage. Baby is growing a lot and packing on fat :)
