How long does it take you to drop off your children with their other parent?

How long are you at drop offs? Do you and your ex talk? Is an hour too long? My husband takes an hour almost every drop off. It's a 15 minute drive. Just not buying that you have that much to talk about three times a week. Opinions?

Edit: it's "court ordered" I can't be at drop offs because she has so much hatred for me. That's what he said when he came out of the courtroom.

We do pick up to pick up. He would never drop off at the court ordered time and never called for a heads up so its flipped now. So when we go pick up my boys it's a matter of seconds. I honk they come out & we leave. We are not on bad terms with one another but as he is in a relationship and I am married there is no reason to hold hands and sing songs when exchanging the kids in my opinion.

My children don't see their dad but my partner drops his daughter off and is never there more than 5 mins! Can't imagine what / why they speak for that long. Tell him you will go with him next time and see if it makes a difference?

Unless it literally says on the court order paper, you can be present for the exchange. Drop offs don't take longer than 15 minutes at least not with us. I don't see why you can't be there, just because she "hates" you isn't a big reason enough for you not to be present.

It takes me 10 minutes max to drop off my daughter unless I'm picking her back up and she has a story to tell me and wants him to be there. Otherwise we don't have anything really that needs to be said and I am a in and out kind of person. I got a bed to get to lol
