No that's the jaw bones you can see. On an ultrasound, the whiter something is, the harder it is.

Mine looked weird too! Lol.  I asked the doctor about it and she explained that the 2d picture only sort of takes slices of a picture and so the shawdowing etc that helps to make features look normal from an angle are missing.  What's weird from one angle will look cute from another.  So I  still expect a cute lil baby to pop out! :)
