Big boy😳

I'm a FTM. I just had my 32week appointment and ultrasound. I'm measuring at 33weeks. My son is 4lbs  15oz. I'm a gestational diabetic. I'm 4'9 and currently weigh 145lbs. From personal experience ( with GD or being small) did your dr watch baby's weight and induce you based on that? It's is possible for me request to get infused once my son is 6lbs? Please tell me your story!  Cause I really don't think my body can push out a 7 or 8 lb baby and I really wanna avoid a c section.
