Anyone else terrified of first dr appointment?

This is pregnancy #3 for me, no live children. Last time we got pregnant, I had an ultrasound that showed 6 week baby with no heartbeat. Im not even looking forward to the appointment coming up for this one because I am just so scared of going through that again. Im not a "stick your head in the sand" type of woman, but it feels good to be excited and happy. I am afraid it will be short-lived.

Try to have positive vibes and just enjoy pregnancy while you can.  I worried so much before I had my miscarriage and after I wish I would have just enjoyed it while I could, if it's going to happen worrying won't stop it. Blessings for peace for everyone expecting

I have never been pregnant this is my first and I'm beyond terrified to go to my first appointment. Just so much to worry about

Yes, me. I have 1 child, and became pregnant last September, which ended in MC in November. Had no idea anything was wrong until that first ultrasound at 9 weeks. I was just telling my husband that I feel myself falling in love with this one already, and I'm so scared. Trying to be optimistic, just super paranoid today.

Same here! Haven't called the doctor yet this is my third pregnancy after to miscarraiges last year. I'm hoping I can wait because I don't want to go through another traumatic ultrasound.

I am totally where you are right now. Sadly I am also on my third pregnancy. 2 early miscarriages last year. We r hoping that 3rd time is a charm. I'm afraid to attach myself to this pregnancy bc I don't wanna get my hopes up. I honestly wasn't going to even make an appt but being tht I'm an OB nurse, I didn't think it was smart. I pretty much try and ignore it all. Harder when I'm super bloated and uncomfortable or crampy. But I finally made my appt...3 weeks from now I think it is. Ur not alone girl...

Have faith. Belive. Everything will be okay.   Don't worry it not good for anyone.   I think that with a baby number 3 for me as well we have concerns  but nothing no one else goes through. Enjoy every moment. I hope your worry are to ease.

Yes, I'm terrified for that same reason! When you found out the news last time, did you have any symptoms indicating maybe the pregnancy wasn't viable?
