Bf doesn't want to shave

My bf has a mustache and beard and longish hair he doesn't want to shave or cut his hair. I mean I guess I wouldn't mind if he would keep it well groomed but he doesn't and no matter how many times I ask him he doesn't want to do anything about it .. Ugh am I being a bad gf for wanting him to shave ?? He looks like a homeless Jesus.. Not to sound rude or anything it's just the truth.
