Best time to take an OPK?

So I have been reading that you shouldn't take an ovulation test in the morning, but when should I take it? I drink so much water so i literally pee all the time. Does that effect my results??

I was taught to start taking OPK on cycle day 10 as not to miss a possible early ovulation. I take my OPK around 10pm after holding my urine for as close to four hours as possible. At cycle day 12, I take my OPK twice daily, once first thing in the morning and again around 10pm. After a few cycles I saw that I typically ovulate around cycle day 19 however on rare occasions on cycle day 14.

Having trouble with this too! The sticks I use recommend first thing in the morning and I can't imagine holding it for 4 hrs if I'm not sleeping...
