I'm currently 17+3 with identicals and I want to try to work as long as possible, disability in California will pay about 2/3 of your salary but I signed up for an additional short term disability insurance with my employer which will pay an extra 20%!!! That's a lot of extra money!! the only catch is I need to work a minimum of 6 months before I can draw it, so that will be July 1, 3 weeks before my due date, I don't know if I'll be able to make it that long, my doctor gave me restrictions to be able to remain seated at my desk which my boss is willing to accommodate, I just don't know how feasible 37 weeks is!!
