Diabetic Moms out there?

I'm diabetic type 1. Recently just found out I was pregnant. I'm almost 5 weeks now. I know it soon but I'm reaching out to others diabetic mothers. Here's a little bit of my story:

I've been pregnant 3 times before. Once in 2010, and in 2012 and also 2014. Unfortunately I miscarried with all three at 6 weeks, 6 weeks 3 days , and 7 weeks 2 days. The doctors told me it was fairly common, that diabetics miscarry due to the hormones messing up their blood sugars and causing complications.

I am due October 21st 2016, going by my LMP also date of conception.

I was hoping to reach other to other diabetic mothers to here their stories and hear from mother who have went full term diabetic.

I would love to listen and here some of the challenges and how you over came them, and any helpful tips you might have.
