Getting over an ex

Hi girls I really need some advice. Me and my ex broke up nearly three years ago but he is on my mind every day a few months after the breakup he came to a party and we kissed, then nothing for almost 2 years and he came back to town over Christmas. He started texting me and I met him at his house and we talked for nearly two hours and it was lovely, but since then nothing?? I can't get him out of my head!! Help!!
