Well... Will it go away?

Question

Anyone else have no idea they had HPV prior to pregnancy? No signs, nothing came up on the Pap smear at 7 weeks pregnant, nothing. I've read that it can lay doormat for years and only show up during pregnancy because of low immune system? So, my question is, has anyone had it and it cleared back up after you had the baby? Was you able to have your baby vaginally ? Or did your birth plan require a c section? Please let me know. Thanks.

I had it for several years with absolutely no symptoms or indication I had it. It is now completely gone, but it's really not a huge deal. I delivered 3 children vaginally while testing positive for it.

I had it for years and it was very stubborn and wouldn't go away. After many treatments  diet change and time it went away. Ff- to pregnancy number 2(now) I had a flare up  early on and I think it went away allready on its own. I did have it

HPV is an STI . I had it years ago took ages to go I actually had to have treatment to remove early cancer cells. A lot of people have it and it lies dormant but if your immune system is low that's when it can affect cells. Mine returned again by luckily I believe due to good diet and multivitamin it has disappeared though due to my history I need yearly smears to monitor. Hope this helps 😊

I had HPV after I gave birth to my son 6 years ago. It went away on its own like my OB told me it would. I don't think it's really something to stress or worry about.

Something in the neighborhood of 80-85% of women have HPV. You may have normal paps moving forward but you'll always have HPV. Most strains of HPV are asymptomatic and will never do anything to you (i.e. warts or cervical cancer). Just having HPV doesn't do anything to your baby via vaginal birth.
