Have you guys ever been on a plane with a baby?

Question

I just want to know if other people mind babies on a plane? Will I get dirty looks for traveling with my infant? Or rude comments? I just want to be prepared for everything coming my way since I'll be alone with a 3 month old. Should I be nervous? I'm really terrified of him crying and not being able to stop him.

I did with my son he was 6 months. I have him son Tylenol before the trip and he napped MOST of the way. But screw people. You have a baby. Crossing my fingers for ya!

Let them look. It's a baby, they cry. Are you not supposed to travel because you have a baby? You'll be fine and they'll get over it.

I think that is the perfect age to bring them on a plane!  Mine was 3 months old on his first plane ride and he did great!  I nursed him on the ascent and descent (the sucking helps their ears to not hurt) and he slept most of the time.  You will do great!

We've taken our son on multiple trips since he was an infant. He usually does really well.  After the first trip we started bringing his own carseat since we primarily fly Southwest without assigned seats if there's extra seats they will let you bring the carseat on the plane,  if not they gate check for no extra charge.  He usually sleeps through the flight,  I try to get seats near the propeller add the extra noise seems to help him sleep better. The only comment I've ever gotten was at the end of a flight when we standing to disembark the lady behind us said "wow, good job parents I didn't even know there was a baby on the flight". I personally thought it was rude, he's a baby, not an animal. If he cries,  he cries.

I flew with my son and no one cared. He started to cry on our first plane and the lady next to use told me she didn't care I'd I fed him or not (he was breatfed.)
