4 days late on my period but haven't had sex?

I'm 2.5 months post partum, I had my period last month on the 13th and now I'm 4 days late on my period. I am breastfeeding also. I know I can't be pregnant, but just wondering what's up with my period! Especially since I'm due to get my birth control tomorrow! 🙄 anyone experience kind of weird periods pp?

I got the copper iud put in yesterday so at least now I won't be tweaking out that I'm pregnant and it will come when it comes!

I just had my 6 week check up today, and my OB told me that your period can be really random for up to 6 months or more after baby especially if you're breast feeding.

Cici- same with me. Got mine last month on the 9th, but hasn't showed this month. I've been taking pregnancy tests, but all negative. I had to abstain from sex for two weeks to get my BC put in on Thursday and they will do another test before just to make sure. I'm assuming it's just from EBF.
