How long after an abortion before you felt sexual again?

I had a procedure done to terminate a pregnancy because I was not at the time in my life for a baby and my birth control had failed. The procedure was in August and I still am no longer feeling as sexual as I was or a need for sex and this is taking a toll on my relationship. So I wanted to see if I'm alone on this.

YOU take as long as you need if you feel you aren't ready. If you are ready but sexual stimulation isn't working, I hope someone can give their experience as to what they did. Just wanted to say please just take your time & don't let -anyone- pressure you.

I felt the same way after I had my abortion. Couldn't even let my boyfriend touch me without freaking out. You need time to heal emotionally and physically. If it's putting a strain on your relationship then talk to him and tell him how your feeling.
