My husband is a maintenance employee at a resort here in town, and earlier today there was a drive by shooting in a stolen vehicle by some stupid kid, in the vicinity of his resort. (This is very rare for our area). My husband was on the fourth floor with the door dead bolted, and was called to the rec center, where he had to get on his golf cart and drive half a mile to get to the all glass rec center with multiple entrances. To add insult to injury, when they had the initial meeting about the shooting and announced they were going into lockdown, his boss told my husband to "not be a hero" because two years ago he was a police officer himself... That is not in his nature at all. So he's in lockdown, in an all glass room, unable to finish his work, and grumpy because his character was insulted. :/
