Negative Day 21 progesterone
Just got a call from my doc that my "Day 21" (day 28 for me since I have long cycles) progesterone test was negative. If I had ovulated, my progesterone should have read around 20 (units? Parts per million? No idea). Instead, it read at 2.8.
I used ovulation tests that detected a surge, but I didn't ever catch the actual positive result. The test line got darker, but never dark enough to confirm an LH surge. I was hoping I just missed it. I really thought I had ovulated.
I'm trying really hard not to be devastated. It's not a pregnancy loss, it's not a "never," it's just a "not right now." I have a beautiful 2 year old daughter and a blessed life. But this hurts more than I thought it would.
