Who actually uses their nursery?

Although my 10wo son has his nursery, he sleeps in his pack n play in my bedroom at night and is in the living room with me during the day. I'm kinda sad we don't use his nursery bc his dad and myself put so much effort into decorating his nursery. Even my glider is collecting dust. I kinda wanna start putting him in his nursery in his crib but am reluctant to bc he still wakes up 3-4 times at night. Anyone else on the same boat? Or if you use your LO's nursery, do they still wake up numerous times throughout the night?

My son sleeps with me every night. He is 15 weeks and wakes up if I try to move him. I have been trying to put him in his crib for his naps through out the day to get him used to it but even this is extremely hard. I am literally typing this as I lay in his crib with him while he comfort eats 😭

My daughter has been in her room since the beginning. It's right across the hall so its not that inconvenient. If it was father away she would be in our room.

Plus she's loud so I hear every noise she makes, which would drive me insane if she was in our room.

My daughter slept in our room until she was 2 weeks old because I had a csection. We keep all the night time supplies in the nursery so it's easier but she still gets up 3-4 times too. Although I will say feeding her the rocked beats trying to get comfortable on the bed.

We've put our baby in his crib since the beginning and he's 8 weeks. He doesn't always make it through the entire night staying in there but we start him off in his own room. I still wake up 2-3 times a night but his room is across the hall from ours. Our rocker definitely gets a ton of use with all the late night feedings.

We chise not to make a nursery. For one we're moving when she's 4 months plus our spare bedroom is an office and its downstairs. Its not like she needs her own room anyways. The baby and I actually slept in the livingroom for the first 5wks so daddy could get some sleep since I was on leave and he works 6 days a week. Now at 3 months she sleeps in her rock n play next to our bed and the crib is also in our bedroom.

DD now sleeps in her co-sleeper next to the bed. We were co-sleeping and just transitioned about a week ago. She doesn't use her nursery either

Like a few others, we put our daughter in her room at 3 weeks. She's a loud sleeper, so it's better for me. The nursery is close enough for me to hear her plus we have the video monitor. I love feeding and rocking in her rocker and she loves looking around her room. Try using the nursery, you may find it works better for you guys!

We put her in her own room at 3 months. Once that sleep regression hits they sleep lighter and your sounds and movements wake them easier.

I had intended to let my daughter sleep in the pack and play in our room but she wouldn't sleep in it. So at 3 weeks I started putting her in her crib and she does better. I do have a camera monitor so I can hear/see her.
