7 week ultrasound??

Question

Did anyone get an ultrasound at 7 weeks?? I'm pregnant with my first and really want to make sure everything is fine, I feel great but my mind doesn't leave me alone! And it won't till I get checked, unfortunately insurance is taking forever but my parents offered to take me to get an ultrasound on them, I don't want to waste their time or money the nurse said I could get one but I wanted to know if anyone had a successful ultrasound at 7 weeks?

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and 1 day and they picked up a heartbeat. The only reason I was in so early was they worried about the bleeding I was experiencing, but that has since stopped. It was a big relief to hear that heartbeat though, you'll love it when you do get to hear it :) congratulations

I agree with Lauren, at 7 weeks it will be rather hard to see much of anything. (Especially the heart beat) I had an U/S with my son at 8w4d and they couldn't find his heart. I panicked for no reason, and they found it a few weeks later. It was terrifying to go through

My doctor waits until 8 weeks before he even sees patients.

Most doctors wait for an ultrasound at 7 weeks. You get to see the little bean and sometimes you get to see the heartbeat. If you go before you may only see the sac and most women will panic. The Drs are looking at you'r best interest.

I'd wait until like 8/9 weeks, then you'll have a chance to see the heartbeat. 7 weeks might be to soon.

I didn't have mine til 11 weeks. In the beginning there's really not much for them to do or see- and it's hard to see the heartbeSt which can be scary. At my 11 week the baby was a lot better formed, and I could see the legs and arms and it was adorable.

I had one at 6 weeks 3 days and saw this little ball with a little flickering spot in it.. Which was the heartbeat. And also saw the yolk sac. Not much to see that early on.

I had one at 5 weeks no heart beat yet though just a round ball .. Lost that baby a week later though
