C-section vs. Normal delivery

Ok ladies, so I had my first baby 6 years ago, she was a c-section because things got complicated when I got to 8 centimeters, I passed out. I had an emergency C-section. Now I'm planning to deliver my baby as a normal delivery (due April 18th). Which of my Doctor says no. He says it will be way too complicated, that my scar would open and baby has a higher chance of dying if she has no fluids or oxygen, which I totally understand that part. I've talked to many mothers that have been in my shoes and they delivered their second even third baby normal. They said Doctors don't want to struggle now a days and just wants whatever is easier for them. Don't know what to do. I ask him every time I go in for my regular routines, but he seems to get mad every time I ask. Ugh:(
