Tell me about your teenage pregnancy experience! I got pregnant with my oldest son who is now 4 when I was 17 with my boyfriend of a year and a half. I was scared to tell my grandma (who I lived with my whole childhood since the age of 3). I was afraid she would be angry and disappointed in me. I called and made the Dr appointment for myself but forgot to change the phone number on my contact info. They ended up calling my grandma and telling her about my "ob" appointment. She called me in her room and asked if I had anything to tell her and I confessed. She was never angry or upset with me. She was calm and explained to me that this would change my life and that having a baby was hard. She asked me what I wanted to do and discussed options with me she asked me what I wanted to do and I told her I wanted to keep the baby. She was nothing but supportive from that moment on. She went to ultrasounds and Dr appointments with me. Never once made me feel bad about myself. I asked her a couple of years later why she was never upset and she explained that a baby is a thing to be loved and not shamed upon no matter what the circumstances. I am so thankful for an amazing grandma and I couldn't have done it without her.
