Should I give up

My boyfriend of 5.5 months went back home to St. Louis for a month and when he did I said I would be willing to try this long distance thing cause I've done it before with another relationship and that ended severely sour but it's been two days in a row in which I've recieved 1 Snap chat and 3 text total . Like I've tried to carry the conversation and he still barely respondes and idk if I should say something or what but my paranoia and anxiety are getting the best of me do I say something what do I say ugh
