shot or bar?

I'm 16. I've been on the depo shot for about a year now.i have sex regularly and sometimes  unprotected. I've been hearing recently that if you stay on the shot for over a year, it majorly affects your fertility later on. True?? also, I'm always worried I'm pregnant because my period is SO spotty and irrregular. which BC would be better for me??

I was gonna say drink the whole bar, why stop at a shot, but then this wasn't about alcohol. Good luck though.

I'm on the bar and absolutely love it. I have had 0 scares and my period is so light it's basically gone. 
My sister was on the shot and gained 20 lbs.

I was on the shot from ages 14 till 18 you definately should try it I loved it . And no that isn't true in everyone
