Sex pain

Do any of you ladies feel good riding your partner but half way through seem a little painful towards your hip ?.. Currently 6 months and just started feeling it the only position comfortable would be sitting on the edge of something while he does the going in and out sorry for the tmi but what position do you ladies find helpful
