8 weeks old! Have many of you originally opted out of using a pacifier and then decided to use one?

Danielle • New mother of a sweet little baby boy 💙
I originally planned not to give my baby a pacifier due to my husbands wishes. Him and his siblings didn't grow up with them and my MIL is so proud of this. At 6 weeks though, my baby started trying to suck at his hands a lot (trying to find his thumb, bless him) in addition to him using my boobs as a pacifier in between feedings. Also during the times that I needed to clean up a little or get dressed, I felt he needed something to stay soothed. I gave in to the paci a couple days ago and it's helped a lot! He even slept through the night for the first time last night because of it! I'm hoping I haven't started a habit he will get spoiled off of and in turn my husband saying 'I told you so!' 🙈🙏🏽
