Dirty Topic: Let's talk about butts!
I know there are a lot of young women and girls here, I wanted to bring up something that no one ever really wants to discuss.
Have you ever just been going about your day and suddenly think to yourself, "Geez, my butthole itches."
When I was a child this would happen and I would tell my dad (because he was all I had growing up). He would always tell me this meant I didn't wipe good enough, that my butt was still dirty. THIS IS NOT ACCURATE.
I am now 23 and dealing with a terrible case of hemorrhoids. I wasn't even aware of the signs/symptoms until this past year, I didn't even know what hemorrhoids were!
So, Hemorrhoids are inflamed blood vessels in your anus. These can be internal and external. Signs are itching and/or discomfort in your rectum. It can be painful or bleed when you poop. Do not ignore your body!
Mine happen to be internal and external.
I do sitz baths multiple times a day, drink plenty of water, adjusted my diet, but I still have a week until my appointment with a Gastroentrologist.
