Twin to twin transfusion

I feel alone in this. I'm 18 weeks and found out 2 weeks ago when I changed obgyns that my twins are identical and I'm in stage 2 of twin to twin transfusion syndrome. I'm scheduled for laser ablation surgery next week and I'm terrified. I don't see how this will turn out good. The donor baby has no fluid in the sac ZERO... How can they survive like this? I've know the sex of the babies but haven't told anyone were afraid to get excited 😞 this is so hard. My older kids will be crushed if I lose these babies.
