Vaginal changes...getting shallow?

I'm a FTM, so excuse my ignorance lol

I know there's lots of changes in the vaginal/cervix area leading up to birth. However, I wasn't expecting this lol

My husband and I had sex last night and literally it felt like he was only halfway in. Even when I was on top, it felt like he wasn't in all the way. Afterwards, he made a comment that I felt very shallow.

Does this mean the baby has dropped, and my cervix is lower or what? I know labor could still be weeks away,but at this point I'm looking for signs of what my body has going on.

I'm 35 weeks, by the way.
