Acne tips?

I'm almost 20 years old and I still get random breakouts that are really bad. I just hate how insecure it makes me feel. What have you done to get rid of acne and what products do you use?!

The only thing that worked for me was going on accutane. It's miserable but so so worth it

I went to the dermatologist and since I had cystic acne they said it was hormonal. I was put on the pill and some spiralactonone pills which helped a lot but now I can't take the pill any more thanks to blood clot so not sure how to control mine anymore. It's so irritating!

Clean and clear continuous acne control cleanser works WONDERS for me. Mainly for those with oily skin because it is extremely drying. But it clears my face up in a matter of days anytime I get a serious break out.

I use dial soap. Every few days my face will get a little dry, so I put vitamin e oil on. And vitamin e helps heal scars, yayyyyy. 😂😊

I found Noxema works just fine for me.

Everybody's skin is different.  I reccomend trying everything till you find out what works.

I use burt's bees acne solution spot treatment. I would always get bad cystic hormonal breakouts but now that I'm a bit older and on birth control my hormones are becoming more regulated (so tha could be a factor too). Also make sure to moisturize every night! Dry skin is more prone to acne because it tries to replenish itself with natural oils. It's actually helped my skin a lot

The Drying Cream from Mario Badescu. Cheap and very effective. It is also very popular. I read about it in Cosmo and bought it. I swear by it.

It's sort of pricey but I use this with rose water to keep my acne at bay. Haven't had major breakouts since!

25 & its still happening. not helping but its more in your genes than anything else.. i use a theee step acne system to 'help'. like proactive, or clean & clear ..
