Light spotting normal?

I'm 4 and half weeks and woke up to some brown spotting only when I wipe. Should I be concerned? I go to the doctor in 1 week have had 1 miscarriage when I was younger but almost certain that was because I was a little reckless back then. I just really want this to stick...

I am 5w1day I have had brown discharge since last weds. It's only ever when I wipe, not consistent though! I went to my doctor today and there not that concerned as my tests seem to be getting stronger. And it's brown, if it turns red to go straight back! I have an early scan booked for Monday! I had a miscarriage last month I started off brown discharge and within hours it turned to fresh blood. I'm praying I have a sticky rainbow baby 🙏🏼 good luck hunni

A little bleeding in early pregnancy is normal. As long as it isn't heavy or accompanied with cramping.

I don't want to scare you, but call your doctor. There is a good chance that everything is OK, but my miscarriage started with VERY light bleeding. I called the nurse to see if it was normal and she had me come in the next day. Sometimes having intercourse can cause a little bleeding. Prayers that everything is OK!
