Confused. Kind of tmi

Last time I was pregnant I bleed. Bright red, big clots turned out it was ectopic. Got my period what seems a week early. Just mostly brown and light. I'm usually heavy and red. I had some cramps for a day or two but there gone. Before I started bleeding I had a faint line on a first signal a couple days before that I had a faint line on frer that was noticeable. I'm just wondering is my period normal to be brown? Or could I have break threw bleeding? Maybe implantation but I thought it was only a couple of drops. Some one tell me what your thought is. Would it be stupid to take a test? I'm also 18dpo today. Thanks in advance!
