Escape plan from work?

Question

I work about 30 minutes from the hospital, and my husband also works 30 minutes from me (but only about 5 minutes from the hospital). I plan on working up until my due date. Any advice if I happen to go into labor at work?

For reference, I'll be 35 weeks on Friday.

Honestly it depends on if you want them to know you're in labor. I waddle out yelling "I think I have explosive diarrhea! Back up everyone, you're ALL in the firing zone!" then rush to the hospital 😂😂😂 (make sure that you have someone to drive you there tho because standing outside acting like you're about to shit yourself would be BAD!)

I work 36 miles from home, my husband works about 4 miles from home. It's about a 45 minute drive from my work to the hospital. I'm going to do my best to work up until she's ready to come. Hopefully it happens when I'm at home, but I'm confident that I will be able to make it from work to hospital (even after I have to have my husband come get me) before anything gets too serious.

With my first I worked all day prepping with boss for maternity leave. She noticed my uterus tightening about every 5 minutes. I thought it was just regular Braxton hicks. I started timing and it was every 5 minutes. I drove the 25 minutes to hospital and went to triage and my water broke there and the rest is history.
