Will my eyebrow piercing grow over?

So 2 years ago I got my eyebrow pierced and it was the most easiest piercing to get done and so easy to manage! One of the worst things I was always prone to hitting it, getting it caught in the blanket and a lot of tugging and my dog was after hitting it by accident a few times and it bled. Two years later I had to do something I didn't want to do and that was take out my piercing and the hole is super huge!! The bottom is small but the top is really big and the skin is so thin from it healing behind it and pushing it back. Will it ever heal fully? I plan on getting it pierced again but not till this is fully healed.
