How to get rid of a yeast infection at 8 weeks prego?

I am exactly 8 weeks and have a yeast infection I've had it for about 1 1/2 week- 2 weeks. I have the burning during sex, burning while peeing, itching, chunky discharge but my obgyn nor any other Doctor will prescribe anything for me and told me not to use anything over the counter until I'm 14 weeks they said it's not safe until 14 weeks pregnant. I'm pretty miserable it's only getting worse. Any suggestions??

I know this will sound crazyish, but take a bath in apple cider vinegar! It helps relieve the itching and burning. I had to a lot while pregnant with number #1. Just when ever it felt like it was starting to hurt I would jump in the bath fill it up with water and pour a cup or 2 of Apple cider vinegar close to my vajayjay and then kinda swoosh it around. It helps with ph levels down there or something. You can look it up on Google for specific directions and how it works. :) hope it helps!

At 4 weeks my doctor told me to use monistat 3 or 7 day and vagisil cream to treat.  Unfortunately that didn't do the trick so I have to go in Wednesday for an appointment. Hopefully they have something that will safely clear this up because the itching is preventing sleep and that combined with the fatigue is kicking my butt.

I'm 7 weeks and had a yeast infection at around 4. My doctor gave me cream and a vaginal suppository. It dosent go away as fast but it went away

That's odd. I'm 5 weeks and 4 days and a week ago they prescribed me safe medication to use while pregnant for a bacterial infection. I was 4 weeks then. This weekend they also said I have bacterial vaginosis so I'm on medicine for that for the next 7 days. After that, they told me it was safe to take a probiotic and I take Digestive Advantage. I took Digestive Advantage before I was pregnant so I still need to make sure that brand is safe while pregnant but in general they said probiotics are safe while pregnant. I was also diagnose with bacterial vaginosis this past week at the Er and was prescribe Metronidazole 500mg for 7 days but I was reading about it and everything said it wasn't safe to use on the first trimester so I call around different pharmacies and was told to call my Obgyn I did and he told me to if it wasn't bothering me a whole lot best to avoid the antibiotic and just wait it out. I refused to take anything that will risk my baby even if some doctors find its ok to prescribe it still a class b medicine.

I started taking a probiotic before I got pregnant bc I unfortunately had frequent yeast infections and since I started taking it I haven't gotten any, so naturally when I got pregnant I was nervous that it wasn't safe for the baby but my ob said it was okay. I take Culturelle and I think it's great! If you're able to find an antibiotic to free yourself of this infection then I definitely recommend it!
