Where is AF?

Question

I always have regular AF's and she was due this either yesterday or today... No AF but still BFN's. Does anyone know if it's possible to get positives only days after a missed period? Is "weak" HCG a thing? If I'm not prego I want to get this period here so we can get moving on trying again lol! Oh the torture!

It's definitely possible to have low hcg to start. And it doesn't increase every day. It usually doubles every 2 days. So if you start out @ 5, then double to 10, and then 20 it could theoretically take a week for you to get the faintest of positives.The early detection tests such as first response require an hcg of 25 to even show up a faint line. Hope this helps :)
