Entering second trimester ....

What has been some of pregnancy symptoms. Or what have people been saying to you since you announced you were pregnant. For me, two people have told me that my face is changing (I'm having a girl) then I heard since I am always tired (I'm having a boy) or a good one, if your neck becomes dark... You're having a girl! Where do people come up with this funny stuff! What have you been told and is any of those true?? This being my first pregnancy so I don't know what to believe!!!
