Anyone else scared to announce?

Hi everyone,
It is so great to read about everyone's topics over the last few weeks! I am almost 13 weeks and we just got our announcement done. Our families know, our extended families know, but for some reason it feels like I'm going to jinx it when we post on social media! Am I crazy? This is our first pregnancy and I have been so nervous this whole 3 months!

I'm scared to announce publicly...and I deal with anxiety every time I do tell someone! I am feeling very private and protective about the baby news. I had some complications very early on and while I'm now feeling much more optimistic, I'm still hesitant. And to be honest, people don't always respond the way you would like them to. Someone I am very close to asked me if I planned it, and if we were having our baby on public medical funding. Which is weird. My husband and I have been together for 10 years and he had a good job with good benefits. I thought telling people would be one of the most enjoyable parts of pregnancy, but I actually don't like it so much. Oh well. I DO like talking about our baby with my husband, and rubbing my belly, and reading baby books. So there.

We aren't announcing until 20 weeks. Mother day to be exact if we know the sex the week before that will be ideal, but all of our close family & friends know about our baby.

I'm very nervous! I'm 11w and my husband is bursting at the seams to tell people.. I feel weirdly protective and scared. I had a loss before but it was early and everything looks fine this time.. still! Trying to hold him off until after 13w!

I hear ya! My husband has been secretly telling everyone (I don't find out until they come up and congratulate me 😑). I know he's excited, but I'm more of a private person than he is. I made sure to tell the important people otherwise he would steal all of the fun out of it! But we finally heard the heartbeat and saw the ultrasound so I'm getting to be more comfortable. I find myself getting more excited the more I talk about it. Hang in there and don't tell people until YOURE ready. There's no right or wrong time. And try not to feel the pressure.

Yes I'm 10 weeks and am not planning to announce until 13. But even go close friends and family I keep putting it off. I'm super anxious about it. My husband and I just got married in September and I don't feel ready yet. I didn't want kids until I was like 30! 
I'll be 25 in December.

Me and my fiancé had this conversation yesterday. We both feel like we're going to want to put it out there to get it over with on social media but we're also hesitant. We aren't ready just yet but we may let my sister take pics soon and hold onto them for memories, and if we decide to post them later on so be it, but everyone we're close to already knows. Putting it on social media for me is more like, so when you all see my around town with a belly, you dont even gotta ask lol but I think were just going to wait until we actually feel like we want to post something but not sweat it too much
