Baby shaking in womb?

Question

Has anyone felt like a shaking movement from their baby? I can't tell if she is just moving fast or if something is wrong like she is having a seizure? It only lasts maybe 3 seconds at a time. Let me know if it's uncommon and I should see my doctor or if it's normal? I'm a FTM. Thank you.

lol that's not a seizure, it's just baby moving. probably throwing its arms or legs around, or maybe even doing a flip.

Yes I had that feelin all the time and when I had him and he stretched he always shook a little and I knew that's what I was feeling when he was in my stomach

It could just be your uterus my sister felt the same and her doctor called it uterus spasms and it can be in relation to Braxton hicks. But i would talk to your doctor and stay off google

My OB said it's the baby making nerve connections and is completely normal. . If you're still worried I'd ask but alot of women go through this and it's always explainable. .the only movement to worry about is violent movement because that could be a sign the baby is in distress

I have that several times a week but for me it lasts up to a minute. My SO has a neurological disorder and while my GYNO said there is no way to confirm my pediatrician said it's possible baby inherited it and is already experiencing signs. The only thing you can do it to monitor it while baby's in the womb and keep and eye out. I've done some research and usually babies who experience it are fine after birth.

My daughter does this and I don't know why. It FREAKS me out. I feel like something is terribly wrong because it only happens when I lay on my left side. I feel like I'm squishing her or like she can't breathe.
