Baby shower?

I want a baby shower because this is my first child, but i dont think anyone will come and i don't have many friends at all. I dont even think any will throw me a shower. Im kind of sad, and i feel like I am alone in this pregnancy.

Maybe just have a very small one? I was talking to my friend about the same issue and she suggested just getting a couple of friends together and going to get nails done or spa day or going out to lunch instead of a traditional shower.  That way you still get to celebrate and don't miss out.

I'm sorry :( I felt the same way. My mother in law threw me one and only 3 people showed up that I personally invited and the rest were her friends.

Mines on Saturday, only 15 of the 40 people invited are coming 😂 pretty dissapointing! Especially since I wasn't even wanting gifts we have everything just wanted to celebrate our baby girl

Sounds like me.. I won't be having one and it makes me kinda sad :/ but whatever I guess we can afford all the stuff we want and need for our little girl but I'd still like to celebrate her but I have about 5 people total I would even invite so not much of a party there.

I wanted a shower, and people offered to throw them. I ended up having 3!!  I don't think of myself as having many friends either. But, I was surprised at how people show up and buy gifts for a baby. We had a huge family shower in Louisiana with my husband's family, a huge family shower in NC  with my family, and I had a smaller girlfriend shower as well. We also get gifts off our registry from people who could not attend a few times per week. Baby due any day now, and thanks to our showers, we have only had to buy a car seat and extra base, and I chose to buy extra clothes because, well baby girl clothes are so cute. Talk to your family. You may be surprised at how excited people get about babies!

I'm kind of a recluse, I didn't think anyone would come either so I am having a co-ed shower with my husband and his family so we get more stuff lol. My mom is throwing it. She asked if I would mind if she invited a couple of her friends and co-workers I was like SURREEE!!!!! The more the merrier, tell them we are registered at Walmart! Lol this is my first too so we need presents haha
