Clomid?

I meet with my OB on March 8, my lmp was 12/20 and haven't had one since. Diagnosed with PCOS for 5 years now. Got pregnant and ended in miscarrage 11/20. When I talked to the nurse she said my insurance won't cover fertility but can see me for PCOS my question for any ladies who have been prescribed Clomid was it through your OB? Did they make you wait a certain amount of ttc time? We're you given Clomid only by seeing someone for fertility only? Just wondering what to expect when I ask my OB to hopefully give me shots to induce a cycle and for Clomid!

I had to wait a year and a half. The first year was just us trying and me being diagnosed. The next six months were hormones and metformin to get my levels correct. Last month was my first month on clomid. My obgyn is also an endocrinologist.  He prescribed all of the above and set the time schedule up. My insurance doesn't cover the fertility either but he bills his visits as pcos treatment and I pay out of pocket for the clomid. I get the generic version at Walmart - it cost me $9 four days ago.

I've taken one round of Clomid and AF is supposed to be here today. Been told I probably have PCOS, no tests other than blood work. My OB prescribed it to me. I also have high prolactin levels and low progesterone levels. I may test in the morning just to see?!?!?! I have had tender brests for a couple weeks now. Keeping my fingers crossed! 🙏🏼 If I do start, I have to hold off on TTC bc she wants me to have a brain MRI...thinking something may be up with my pituitary gland bc of my levels.

I love my OB doc. My insurance paid for my laparoscopic surgery, and all my office visits. The only thing I have to pay outta pocket is my Clomid. $30....hopefully it's worth it. But if i wanted to do any fertility treatments, IUI, IVF etc, they will not cover that. I'm OK with that cuz I don't want that. I would love to get pregnant on my own. GL to all you ladies....much baby dust and happiness to you. ☺

Once I was diagnosed with PCOs last spring I started on clomid he next month through my OB. I have done six medicated cycles totall now. In the TWW of my sixth. Three clomid and three fermera. If this does not take we are gonna be referred to a most likely CNY Fertility for IUI
